Balta

A big advantage of the Spider palletizing robot is that products can be palletized on several pallets which are positioned one beside each other. We build Spiders that can palletize products  on up to 30 pallets. At Balta, rolls of carpets had to be stacked according to their length and quality in 4 different U-shaped containers. Since the deposit height always varies the Spider measures each time the previous layer before the next layer of carpets is deposited.

The extremely user-friendly operation of the Spider and the fact that all periphery can be controlled from the central display was also a huge plus for Balta.

In the meantime, the solution with the Spider at Balta has become a standard and several Spiders have been set up in Balta factories in Belgium and Turkey.
