Penne

The Spider palletiser is a robot equiped with a very high-performance software that allows complex processes to be automated. At Penne parts of windscreen wipers are manually packed in plastic crates and a cardboard sheet is laid between the layers.

The Spider unstacks the empty crates and feeds them to the operator. The necessary cardboard intermediate sheets for a full crate are taken from a large hopper and placed on top of each other after which they are fed to the operator.

Once the crate is full, it is fed back into the Spider to be automatically palletized. There is also a mode where empty crates can be fed that to be stored by the Spider in columns for later use.
